The search mission for the missing mountaineers has said that the satellite images have turned out to be a sleeping bag, torn tents or sleeping pads, none of which belong to the climbers.
Muhammad Ali Sadpara, Juan Pablo Mohr and John Snorri Sigurjonsson have been missing since February 5.
Qureshi briefed his Chilean counterpart of efforts being made by Pakistan to locate them, including a number of search flights by Pakistan Army Aviation helicopters amid challenging weather conditions.
Sadpara, Snorri and Mohr lost contact with the base camp on Friday and were reported missing on Saturday.
During the call, the two Foreign Ministers also discussed bilateral relations and agreed to remain engaged in future both on bilateral and multilateral fora.
