Generally favourable weather could help farmers to increase the grain crop to 75 million tonnes this year from 65 million in 2020.

Traders have used around 85% of the total wheat export quota of 17.5 million tonnes imposed for the whole 2020/21 July-June season.

Ukraine is among the leading global grain exporters and sold about 57 million tonnes of grain to foreign buyers in the 2019/20 season.
