Youth Affairs ministers of all the federating units were also made members of the council, while Deputy Secretary to Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme will serve as its secretary.
SAPM said prime minister was keen to create massive employment opportunities for the youth, adding the government would make all-out efforts to empower them.
Usman Dar said the government was planning to add another tier of Rs 100,000 to Rs 500,000 as most of the applications were received for this type of loans under the YES.
Usman Dar said the initiative had started paying dividends as there were many young people who had been earning money in a dignified manner after getting trainings under the programme.
