US job openings rise slightly in September

Job openings, a measure of labor demand, were up 84,000 to 6.4 million on the last day of September.
The job openings rate was unchanged at 4.3% in September. Layoffs dropped 200,000 to 1.3 million. The layoffs rate fell to 0.9% from 1.1% in August.

Bulgarian economy may contract more than 4pc this year: IMF

In October, the IMF forecast the small and open economy to contract by 4% in 2020 and saw its unemployment rate at 5.6%.
On Tuesday, the Balkan country of 7 million people reported 3,816 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 78,976, including 1,771 deaths.

Anxiety, depression and insomnia were most common among recovered COVID-19 patients in the study who developed mental health problems, and the researchers also found significantly higher risks of dementia, a brain impairment condition.
