The Taliban insurgents have killed Baitullah Mehsud's father-in-law and some other people on suspicion of their involvement in the killing of their former chief, said Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik here on Sunday.
In an interview to a British news channel, Rehman Malik said he made this claim on the basis of the kind of information on which he disclosed the news of the death of former chief of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Baitullah Mehsud.
He confirmed that Baitullah Mehsud is dead and added that it can be part of a policy of the government not to confirm 100 percent the news of his death.
