In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, martyred five more innocent Kashmiri youth, four of them in Kralpora and Sonapindi areas of Kupwara and one at Aripora Zewan in Pulwama. The youth killed at Aripora Zewan, the locals said, was deliberately hit and crushed to death by a speedy army vehicle.
Forceful demonstrations were held in the area against the killing. On the other hand, people took to street in Kupwara town against the anti-people policies of the puppet administration. Nearly a dozen persons were injured when Indian police personnel subjected an anti-India peaceful demonstration to brute force in Baramulla town.
Illegally detained senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued from Chashmashahi sub-jail maintained that observance of complete shutdown, yesterday, by the people of occupied Kashmir should serve as a wake-up call for the international community, which should take concrete steps for early settlement of Kashmir dispute.
