Zamzama gas field has gone on its Annual Turn around (ATA) from 26/27.10.2010 (mid night) for 9 days till 04/05.11.2010 (mid night). According to the spokesperson of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Zamzama gas field has gone on its Annual Turn around (ATA) from 26/27.10.2010 (mid night) for 9 days till 04/05.11.2010 (mid night).
During this period, supplies into our system shall reduce by 170 MMCFD. During this period, no gas shall be supplied to three fertiliser plants namely, Pak Arab Fertlizer, Dawood Hercules and Pak American fertilizer on SNGPL's network.
The spokesperson said that load management in industrial CNG sectors shall be observed in accordance with the following schedule according to which general industrial sector in which industrial zones of Lahore- 1/Sheikhupura & Gujranwala, Lahore 2 and Sahiwal gas will be curtailed on October 30, 2010 to 1st November 2010, In Faisalabad and Zone 4 (Bahawalpur, Multan and Islamabad regions there will be curtailment of gas on October 27th to October 29th and 2nd to 4th November 2010.
Spokesman also said that in case of any change in above schedule due to increase in gap between demand and supply and to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to domestic sector, same shall be advised to industrial consumers accordingly.
After completion of Zamzama ATA, industrial sector will observe1-2 days gas holiday per week depending on gap between demand and supply prevailing at that time, schedule of which shall be advised later on.
About the gas holidays in CNG sector the spokesman said that holidays would be observed according to following schedule, according to which gas holidays in Bahawalpur & Islamabad Regions will be observed on 29th and 30th October and 5th & 6th November 2010 and in Multan, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal & Gujranwala Regions gas holidays will be on 26th and 27th October and 2nd & 3rd November 2010 while in Faisalabad Region gas holidays will be on 27th and 28th October and 3rd & 4th November 2010.
