National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) North Zone arranged quilts, mattresses and medicines for the flood-hit people for fast approaching winter season. According to the details, on the directions of Inspector General (IG) NH&MP Dr Wasim Kauser, N-5 North Zone has arranged quilts, mattresses and medicines for the flood-affected people to save them from the harsh winter season.
Deputy Inspector General NH&MP North Zone, Abbass Hussain Malick said that flood victims also needed warm clothes, quilts and mattresses along with edibles to survive in winter and on the direction of IG these items have been donated.
A team was constituted in this regard under the supervision of SSP Dr Inam Waheed to finalise the plan. This team finalised the plan and donated three trucks of 1000 quilts, 1000 mattresses and medicines. The DIG added that the officers of N-5 North Zone played vigorous and spirited roll and distributed 27 trucks of relief items and medicines among the flood affected people since the flood came.-PR
