ISE index down 9.77 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Thursday, where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 9.77 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,839.54 to 2,829.77 points. The overall turnover amounted to 103,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 17,000 shares.
Total 136 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (78) closed in negative territory, 58 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Mari Petroleum was 10,000 shares. The volume of PIA was 300 shares.
