The Volkswagen assembly plant will have the capacity to produce 28,000 vehicles per annum.

Pakistan expects 1.23 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine on 8th May

Pakistan’s health officials have confirmed to CNN that a shipment of 1.23 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine are expected to arrive on the 8th of May.
Pakistan was supposed to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine doses by February this year, however, the supply got delayed after India diverted the supplies to meet domestic needs.

These taxis have been named Apollo ‘robotaxis’ and around 10 of them have been deployed in an area of 3 square kilometers around Shougang Park in western Beijing.
Each Apollo robotaxi ride costs about 30 yuan (Rs. 712). Passengers aged between 18 and 60 are allowed in these autonomous taxis.

MG Pakistan says vehicles will be delivered on bookings before March 19

The company says ZS SUV will be delivered by the committed dates and times, but the HS vehicles will be delivered to those who had made bookings prior to 19 March 2021.
This is entirely on a first-come-first-serve basis along with a delay of two to three months in the committed delivery date.

Blasphemy law abuse: EU parliament adopts resolution calling for review of Pakistan’s GSP+ status

The resolution was adopted unanimously with 681 Member of European Parliaments (MEPs) voting in favor of this resolution while 3 against it.
It calls on the Commission and the European External Action Service (EEAS) to immediately review Pakistan’s eligibility for GSP+ status and whether there is sufficient reason to initiate a procedure for the temporary withdrawal of this status.
