KP reports 33 new Covid deaths, 1,062 infections on Tuesday

The province was hit with 1,062 fresh cases on 20th April, taking the total number of cases to 106,500.
Just a day ago, former Inspector General of KP Police, Nasir Khan Durrani, had succumbed to coronavirus.

Absar Alam was shot at on Tuesday evening while walking outside his house in Islamabad.
In a video message on Twitter, Alam said he was hit in the ribs.

PML-N, JUI-F to support resolution on French envoy’s expulsion

Both parties will continue to protest against the government but will support it on the resolution.
The decision came hours after Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, distanced himself from the resolution.
