COVID-19: NCOC decides to increase restrictions, tighten implementation of SOPs as Pakistan fears 'third wave'

Asad Umar said NCOC decided to increase restrictions of activities contributing to a sharp increase in coronavirus positivity.
NCOC has directed the provincial and Islamabad administration to tighten implementation of coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and crackdown on violations that are taking place, he said.

PM contracted COVID-19 prior to vaccination, clarifies Asad Umar

"The symptoms take a few days before manifesting. Hence it is certain that PM had been infected PRIOR to vaccination. So please do vaccinate," Umar tweeted.
On Saturday, SAPM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has tested positive for coronavirus.

The shops and halls have been sealed in Lahore Cantt, New Lahore City, Shalimar Town and Model Town.
The sealed shops and halls have been fined Rs65,000 each.
